Kids on the Move

Kids on the Move is a non-profit organization, founded by two moms who wanted to extend a helpful hand to all families with children in need. Kids on the Move appeals to Utah County families that are in crisis; either with a child that has a delay or a disability, or children at risk from poverty. Kids on the Move serves over 2000 familes in the community each year. Upcoming events and ongoing programs include: Early Intervention, Early Head Start and Autism Bridges. Bridgerland Literacy

Bridgerland Literacy is a private, non-profit organization that trains volunteer tutors and matches them with students who need help with literacy skills, including: reading, writing, spelling, mathematics and basic computer skills. Instruction is one-on-one, confidential and geared toward individual needs and abilities. In the months before Christmas, Bridgerland holds an annual "Have a 'Novel' Christmas" book drive to benefit children in Cache Valley. Huntsman World Senior Games

The Hunstman World Senior Games is the largest, annual, multi-sport event for athletes 50 and over in the world. It takes place each October in St. George and offers 27 different events. The organization appeals to health-minded people who want to enjoy social interaction and friendly competition. The mission of the Senior Games is to foster worldwide peace, health and friendship. The American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society strives to make a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays through breast cancer research, free information and services for those fighting the disease and access to mammograms for women who need them. One way you can get involved is to join a "Making Strides" team. It is a breast cancer walk to be held in Salt Lake City. Just a few hours of your day will help bring a lifetime of change for people facing breast cancer and their loved ones.
