Topaz Museum

The Topaz Museum has recently opened to the public! It was recently created to preserve the Topaz site and the history of the internment experience during World War II; to interpret its impact on the internees, their families, and the citizens of Millard County; and to educate the public in order to prevent a recurrence of a similar denial of American civil rights.

Ogden Nature Center

The Ogden Nature Center is a 152-acre nature preserve and education center. Their mission is to unite people with nature and nuture appreciation and stewardship of the environment. To do this they offer breathtaking area filled with nature, along with classes for all ages. Each year the Ogden Nature Center has over 27,000 students, teachers, and other visitors learn more about nature through hands-on-field classes.

Mountainland Headstart

Mountainland Headstart's mission is to promot school readiness for children and self-sufficiency for families in need through quality comprehensive services and community partnerships. They do this through offering children from low-income families resources in education, health and nutrition, mental health, family, and specialized services for children with disabilities. They even offer bus stop services.

Logan Tabernacle Concert and Lecture Series

The Logan Tabernacle has been standing in 1891, and has been a great center for music in our community. Now The Logan Tabernacle has yearly concert and lecture series featuring musical performers and speakers from many different locations and styles. And the best part of it all? All of the events are free!

Division of Radon Control

Radon is a naturally occuring element, and can fluctuate in amounts in the area. You can't naturally detect radon, but it easy to detect and fix. If you'd like to check if your home has dangerous radon amounts, go to the the Utah Division of Radon Control and follow the instructions.
