Alzheimer's Association of Utah

by Eleven 27. March 2014 11:42

The Alzheimer's Association of Utah is working hard to provide the needed services and funding to quell the effects and burdens of Alzheimer's. The organization works to provide programs and services to those affected by the disease as well as the caregivers. They offer a helpline that is available 24/7 to answer questions and direct people to resources to help their specific situations. Aside from the services given to those dealing with Alzheimer's the organization works to educate the public to "know the 10 signs" that indicate that someone has Alzheimer's. Because there is no known cause or cure for the disease, the Alzheimer's Association of Utah works to provide funding for research through sponsorhip and their annual Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraiser, and they help people become involved with clinical studies.
