Craft Lake City

Craft Lake City's mission is "to educate, promote and inspire local artisans while elevating the creative culture of the Utah arts community through science, technology and art." They do this in amazing ways. One of the events that promotes their mission is the DIY festival on August 8th and 9th which invites local crafters and artisans to show their creations to the public. Not only do these artisans elevate Utah with their creations, but they also help teach the community through workshops run through Craft Lake City. Their newest partnership is with the Natural History Museum of Utah with which they focus on learning about the environment with activities like building terrariums.
