Springville World Folkfest

The Springville World Folkfest is exactly what it sounds like, a festival to celebrate the traditional art and music of cultures around the world which is held every year in our very own Springville. The performers who come are from the countries they represent, they pay their own way to travel here, and stay with generous host families in the area. This year Folkfest week will be from July 28th to August 2nd, and each night will have 5 evening performances where each group will perform. The street dance on July 28 is a free performance at the Springville Museum of Art where the audience will learn and participate with some of the dances that the groups will be performing. During the Folkfest you can taste international foods, learn about other cultures, and mingle with the international performers.
